I believe in a God who is constant, with me every step of the way, guiding my every move.

I believe in a God who is just, who allows me to suffer the consequences of my mistakes, who knew there was only one way that I could be with him.

I believe in a God who is true, and reveals this to me day after day, time and time again in my life.

He longs for us to trust Him. Anything we could ever give Him pales in comparison to what He deserves, yet we still continue to fail to give even to the best of our abilities.

If only we could understand this God who is so beyond what we can imagine. If only all would be willing to accept the peace, the great and amazing peace, that He offers.

If only we could learn to trust Him, in all that we do.

If only we could love Him, in all that we do.

I've a guard put up

strong and iron walls

blocking any means of entry

It protects from bouts of evil

from the pain of innocence

that I am scared to feel again

I make off like nothing bothers

hurt is hidden with my laughter

Though my heart is growing weary

to shatter into pieces scattered

By the way, I'd just like to say how much I love Beans, the person, not the food. She's pretty flat out amazing and I am incredibly thankful that she is in my life. (I definitely wrote wife at first...ha)

This game is so intense. I am in the middle of possibly the most incredible game and I may possibly be gaining the most hilarious quotes and memories, many thanks to my brother and Rusty.

Although, one thing definitely learned

I'm going to be at the library for nine hours today.


If anyone is thinking about going to the library, I really don't recommend it. Not today, at least. Stay home. Eat left overs. Play with the boxes...just don't go there.

As a general rule, I fail at blogging. Maybe it's a commitment issue? All I know is that I have three out in the blogosphere, all with maybe 1-2 posts in each.

Anyways, I hope that everyone is having a good Christmas, remembering why we have this holiday, and I really hope that you didn't miss 3/4 of family movie time because you fell asleep because you got zero hours of sleep on Christmas Eve.
